FAIR HOUSING COMMITMENT

RAM is strongly committed to upholding Fair Housing principals ensuring our residents do not face discrimination of any kind.  RAM provides ongoing training for site staff to deepen their understanding of Fair Housing principles to better provide inclusive and respectful service to all residents.

SPECIAL NEEDS HOUSING

RAM currently manages 60 communities in Florida, Georgia and Alabama that offer affordable housing coupled with community-based services to help special needs populations acquire and maintain a stable home. This proven housing model provides assistance for persons experiencing homelessness, persons with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities, youth aging out of foster care, and survivors of domestic violence.

RESIDENT ACTIVITIES & PROGRAMS

We promote continued tenancy and encourage resident involvement through on-site programs.These initiatives are designed to enhance literacy, provide employment training, support wellness, improve financial management, and offer enriching youth activities. Communities staffed with Family Support Coordinators and Case Managers provide residents with comprehensive support including direct resource and referral services for basic needs. We actively promote tenant engagement through social events and creative activities, like our annual diversity art contest.

RISING APARTMENT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS (RAMP)

RAM is proud to offer a tuition-free training and internship program to our residents that nurtures property management career opportunities.  This program is offered in various regions throughout the year and focuses on training for Leasing Coordinators and Assistant Managers.  Our newest RAMP Training is currently being developed and will offer residents free training for Maintenance Technician positions.

Rising Apartment Management Professionals

RAMP PROGRAM

Royal American Management’s RAMP journey began in 2022 in the US Virgin Islands. Following this success, RAM offered a stateside class in Panama City, FL then later in Orlando. RAMP Miami class marks the fourth group to complete the comprehensive 210-hour tuition-free training, which includes online and live sessions, diversity overview, job shadowing, a paid internship, Pathway to Policy & Procedure Compliance Training, and job search readiness.

Looking ahead, we’re committed to continue supporting our RAMP graduates in their career paths and we eagerly anticipate their future contributions to the industry.

Recent Updates:

October 1, 2025: A combined Maintenance and Management program will be kicking off this October! Participants can choose to build a professional career in either apartment maintenance or property management—offering flexibility to align with their goals and interests.

June 4, 2025: Royal American Management proudly celebrated the 4th graduating class of the Rising Apartment Management Professionals (RAMP) program on June 4. Congratulations to our graduates!

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

This education and job shadow multiphase program is hosted by the Operations Group, Training Department, Human Resources, and the ACE Committee exclusively for our employees seeking another career path within Royal American Management. Featuring a Mentoring program to facilitate personal and professional growth for our employees, this program pairs employees seeking career advancement (Mentees) with experienced upper staff in their desired roles (Mentors), creating a supportive learning environment that encourages career progression within the company.

Pathway to Career Development

MAINTENANCE PATH

Royal American Management is excited to announce the launch of our new Pathway to Career Development (PCD) program. This comprehensive initiative is designed to empower our employees and provide them with the tools and opportunities needed to explore new career paths within our organization. Thoughtfully developed, nurtured, and launched by our Training Department, ACE Committee, and PCD Task Force, the Maintenance Department will be the first to pilot this program with other departments to follow suit soon.

Recent Updates:

May 2025: We are proud to announce that the first participants of our new Pathway to Career Development: Maintenance Path have completed the program! Their graduation ceremony was held on May 8, 2025. As of May 9, 2025 three of our five participants have received promotions! We hope to improve and expand upon our Maintenance program to provide training to even more aspiring maintenance professionals in the future.

March 2025: The Pathway to Leadership Excellence program began on March 24, 2025!

October 2024: Orientation for our inaugural class of 5 participants met on October 30th, 2024 at our Orlando Corporate Office. The pilot program only included Orlando and Gainesville-based maintenance teams currently, but we are excited to expand the program in the future to different markets.
